Geri Gamber
Geri Gamber is the Executive Director of Southeastern Utah Association of Local Governments (SEUALG) and Director of the Southeastern Economic Development District (SEUEDD). Mrs. Gamber has 15 years of experience working with economic development and business expansion programs and initiatives. Mrs. Gamber has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
Currently, Mrs. Gamber works with four counties; Carbon, Emery, Grand and San Juan to assist with economic development in the region. Mrs. Gamber serves on several economic development boards and committees for the region. Mrs. Gamber is certified trainer for Bridges out of Poverty and Framework for Poverty. In addition, Mrs. Gamber is on the Executive Board for Business Expansion and Retention, Board appointment for the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, Coal Country Strike Team, Community Development Corporation Board member, United Way of Eastern Utah and Envision Utah Board. In addition, Mrs. Gamber participates with the Four Corners Future Forum. This is a regional committee involving four states; Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.
Mrs. Gamber strongly believes economic prosperity is an instrument for reducing poverty and improving the quality of life for the region. This belief is the reason she helped create the original Regional Growth Program, and is now serving as the Board Chair and founding Board Member.
